The Perfect Bloody Mary

2 ounces vodka
8 ounces Bloody Mary mix, preferably Debutante Farmer
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 to 3 dashes hot pepper sauce, such as Tabasco to taste
1 pinch salt
1 dash freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
½ cup ice cubes
1 stalk celery
1 lemon wedge 


In a highball glass, stir together vodka, Bloody Mary mix, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Add lemon juice and mix well. Fill the glass with ice. Garnish with a celery stalk and a lemon wedge, and serve.
